We had so much fun this afternoon at PCES! We even had a surprise visitor. Retired teacher, Val Peterson, made a guest appearance today to lead our parade as she had done for so many years before retirement. Thank you for joining us, Mrs. Peterson! 🎃

These awesome Pumas had a writing prompt asking they would like to be the President or principal. They choose principal to do what I do! Made my day!

In media, we are working on building reading stamina. Second grade had a great time reading with finger flashlights!

Mrs. Bell’s class finished up Junior Achievement with Mrs. Mattingly from Marquis yesterday. The student learned all about a community and how money moves through the community. We also talked about taxes and voting. We are so grateful for excellent volunteers from our community who come in to share this program with our students.

Our annual trip to Starved Rock & Matthiessen Parks to hike and do team building activities. Thanks to PCEF for their support.

Yaneli was on our Starved Rock trip and showed her character with her politeness toward people at the park. A lady noticed and gave her a kindness award. Proud of her!

Pep assembly to send off Anni Judd for her state appearance in cross country! Good luck!
