PC 535: With the gas off, there is no threat to safety. The concern will be based on class temps. Depending on the length of time for repair, the students will return to PCES for dismissal.

PC 535: PCES will plan on attending school as regularly scheduled. If temps are too cool due to boilers being off, the students will bus to the high school for a morning assembly during repair.

PC 535:There was a small gas leak at PCES that will require repair tomorrow (1.11.18). The gas is currently off and everyone is safe. All activities at PCES have been cancelled for tonight.

PC 535: The District will conduct its scheduled Institute Day today. Main roads and parking lots have been salted. Please allow extra time for travel. We plan to resume normal school hours tomorrow.

PC 535: Regular traffic restored east/west on Silverspoon. Northboud on Elm still blocked while crews work. Great job by Johannes Bus & drivers to coordinate the routes. Thanks all for being patient

Great job by Ameren, PC Sheriff, Police, Fire Department in responding & communicating the situation with the district. The quick response & proper handling helped avoid possible issues. Well done!!

Gas main is shut off and being clamped all is good. ALL bus dismissal times will remain the same. All parent pick up should come from the north on Elm. The 4 corners is currently blocked off.

PC 535: Parent Pickup at PCPS needs to route cars through HS parking lot once roads are cleared (currently blocked off to keep everyone out while crews work on situation). Again, students are safe!
