Putnam County High School proudly hosted its inaugural Career Fair on Wednesday showcasing the diverse opportunities available in the Illinois Valley. The event attracted over 40 local businesses, providing students with invaluable insights into various career paths and the skills required to succeed in today’s workforce. Thank you to all businesses who helped make yesterday a huge success! Also, thank you to Miss England for organizing this incredible event!

8th Grade students are attending a Holocaust presentation through the Hennepin Library who secured a grant to obtain Virtual Reality headsets from the Illinois Holocaust Museum to help students learn about WW2.


Congratulations to Kinsey Pierski who won the Sportsmanship Award for the 7th Grade Sectional.


Mrs. Lenkaitis's classes learning about rations and what meals looked like for different groups in World War 2. Soldiers, citizens, people in camps, etc. Great way of bringing history alive!
