6th grade students in Mrs. O'Hern's Science classes are learning about the water cycle and today are creating their own cycle.
PC #535: Due to the cold weather today, The Sound of Music auditions have been moved to Friday, January 19th, 2024, at 3:30 PM for high school students and 5:30 PM for elementary and junior high students.
PC #535: Due to dangerously cold temperatures and wind chills, all PC schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 16th, 2024. All activities and practices for Tuesday are canceled as well. (The Board of Education meeting will take place as scheduled.)

Friday's (1/12) HS Boys basketball vs Marquette has been postponed due to weather. Make up date is 2/3/24 with sophomores starting at 1pm with varsity to follow.
Logistics for the related activities (FFA basket raffle, Lil' Cheer, JH/HS Pep Band/Chorus) are all TBD.
Mrs. Kindred has her students solve Math problems on the board as they explain the steps they used to solve them. Great way to have students explain to each other how to solve them as Mrs. Kindred checks their understanding.
The PCJH Band & Chorus will be performing with the PCHS Band & Chorus at the High School Boys Basketball game Friday January 12th. Come out and watch the combined performances. The PCJH band has been practicing!

PE is starting their square dance unit. It's the state dance of Illinois and fun!

Congratulations to the 6th Grade Boys Basketball team on their 1st place finish in the Holy Family Tournament. They beat a talented team 23-22 in a great game. Congrats coaches and players!
