
This week 2nd grade enjoyed their egg drop, PTO purchased donuts for our school, and we had a very special visitor this morning.




Great support staff at PCJH. They did the last staff & student welcome of the year with music, dancing, treats, and welcome signs! Thank you!!




PCES took a little time today for some team building. Lots of laughs were shared during these Minute to Win It games!

It has been a fun week at the Primary School. PTO came and made ornaments, we celebrated Grinch Day, and today was kindergarten craft day.











Nice example of relationship building that takes place in PC schools. Dr. Theisinger had a conversation with Daniel earlier this week, and when he came to PCJH this morning, Daniel presented him with a contract for his job. The 2 were negotiating! Great relationship building!


Check out these super smart Mathfact Masters. They knew their facts quickly and have definitely been practicing! Way to go kiddos!!!


Pumas in Mrs. Ibarra's class are creating balloons of their favorite novel they read this year so far. They included the title, author, & symbol to represent their favorite character, scene, quote, etc. Great way to do a book review!



The Pumas were welcomed by Mr. Carboni & his VIP this morning with holiday music, holiday trivia, candy canes,&cookies!!



Great job PCJH Band & Chorus at their Winter Concert tonight. Congrats to Ms. Klypchak on an outstanding performance.




Mrs. Simpson and her 5th graders had a special guest join their science class yesterday and today. Mr. Keith King (IVCC Biology instructor, PC parent, and school board member) brought equipment for students to examine different types of cells. Needless to say, they loved it and learned a lot from this experience! Thank you, Mr. King!

Last night we recognized our 8th grade Puma Cheerleaders and Basketball players for their contributions to the PCJH athletic program.


Putnam County High School is thrilled to announce that Alexander Myres received a full four-year scholarship to Northwestern University through the QuestBridge National College Match. Congratulations!


PCJH Winter Concert is Thursday 6:30pm in the high school auditorium.


After completing an experiment last week, Mrs. Simpson's 5th grade science class is discussing what elements caused food items to mold faster than others.
