2nd Grade has been doing Junior Achievement and learning about how money moves throughout our community. We are very grateful to have volunteers like Mrs. Mattingly from Marquis to come in to teach these important concepts! Here are some pictures from Mrs. Bell’s class of the kids buying and selling things as well as saving money.

Preschoolers in Mrs. Edens’s classes participated in a fun experiment!  We painted leaves with glue, added eyes and a mouth, waited for the glue to dry and then peeled the glue away to make a ghost!

PCES students learned some very useful information today at our fire prevention assembly. Some of our very own firemen from PC stopped by to show the students their gear and of course to practice...stop, drop, cover your face, and roll!!

Today is Great Apple Crunch Day! Schools across the Midwest celebrate this day to learn about local agriculture and farming. At 2:00 PM today everyone at PCES took a bite of their apple to make the loudest crunch in unison! THANK YOU to Boggio's Orchard for the generous donation of apples for everyone at PCES! They were delicious 🍏🍎
