Reminder- PCJH State Tournament Fan Bus for PCHS & PCJH students leaves Saturday, December 2nd 10:15 from PCJH. Game is at Riverton High School at 1:00 and we will leave and return to PCJH after the game. We should be back at PCJH around 4:15-4:30. Cost of game ticket is $5.00. Mrs. Lenkaitis and her elves welcomed staff and students with some warm holiday cheer and reminded them how wonderful it is to be at PCJH! They had Christmas songs, candy canes, ornaments, holiday music and dancing!


Our PCHS Panther Coffee Shop set up at IVCC today to serve many local educators attending a workshop. The coffee and tea were delicious and much needed on a rainy Friday morning!

7th Grade, Lady Pumas, are Sectional Champs and advance to the State tournament! with Kami Nauman winning the sportsmanship award for the game for the Pumas.

Congratulations to the winners of the Elks Club Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest. Age division winners were Murphy, Kami, Hayden, & Dom. Runners up were Brooklin, Anni, Emmett, & Calvin. Congrats and great job!


After reading the book, "How to Catch a Turkey" these 5th graders are now experts in building cages...given these simple supplies of course!











We had so much fun this morning welcoming the winners of the fire escape plan drawings! Congratulations to Giada W., Octavia W., Arya K., and Priscilla S. These students were awarded a surprise ride to school in the fire engine today and an Amazon gift card. Thank you Hennepin FD for organizing this special opportunity for our students and promoting fire safety with everyone!

Congrats to Mrs. Balestri, PCES Principal, who was recognized today as the Elementary Principal of the Year for the Starved Rock Region of the Illinois Principals Association!
